Scholarship Winners

2003 

Each year, it is the intent of the national Association of Purchasing Management, Finger Lakes Region, to provide three $1,000.00 Academic Scholarships to our local communities institutes of higher learning, specifically Corning Community College, Elmira College and a dependant of an NAPM member. The criteria for the scholarship is: the student must be enrolled as a full time, Business Major, Minimum Grade point Average of 3.0. The students must write an essay on their understanding of, and interest in purchasing as a career.

ISM Finger Lakes Region will awarded scholarships totaling $3,000 to three college management/business students. The winners were presented the awards at a dinner meeting on March 13th at Elmira College. Guest speaker was Dr. Thomas K. Meier, President of Elmira College.

The winners are Kristin Cicerone, Todd Masters, and Kristen DiGiacomo.

Kristin Cicerone is a Junior at Elmira College from Scituate, MA majoring in Management/Marketing.

Todd Masters is a Senior at Elmira College from Batavia, NY majoring in International Business.

Kristen DiGiacomo is a Junior at Elmira College from Spencerport, NY majoring in Business Administration-Marketing
