Scholarship Winners
Each year, it is the intent of the Institute of Supply Management, Finger Lakes Region, to provide Academic Scholarships to our local communities institutes of higher learning, specifically Corning Community College, Elmira College. The criteria for the scholarship is: the student must be enrolled as a full time, Business Major, Minimum Grade point Average of 3.0. The students must write an essay on their understanding of, and interest in purchasing as a career.
Michael (Mickey) Mann graduated from Elmira Southside High and recently graduated from Corning Community College with a degree in Business Administration/Economics. He is planning on furthering his education and looking at two colleges.
Both of our Scholarship winners are very deserving and should be applauded by ISM Finger Lakes for their interest in procurement. Please join us in congratulating the 2005 winners.
